Hot Chocolate
Ingredients (for 2 cups)
- 500 ml milk (whole or semi-skimmed)
- 8 to 10 napolitains squares (depending on desired intensity: Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, or a mix)
- 1 stick of honey (adjust to taste)
- Optional: vanilla, cinnamon, or cream
Preparation:
- 1. Heat the milk
In a saucepan, warm the milk over low heat without boiling.
- 2. Add the napolitains squares
Add the chocolate squares to the hot milk and stir gently until fully melted.
- 3. Adjust texture and taste
Add a stick of honey if you want a sweeter, smoother hot chocolate.
For a thicker texture, cook 1-2 more minutes while whisking.
- Serve hot
- Pour into two cups… and enjoy with a few napolitains, dates, wafers, dried fruits, or biscuits for extra indulgence.
